Moitech®, Composite materials, innovative vision, bespoke solutions
Moitech® was launched in 2017 within the Filippi 1971 Research and Development department with the aim of exploring the boundaries of composite materials and creating high-performance, innovative and custom solutions.
Today it is a dynamic, multidisciplinary laboratory, where designers, architecture studios, racing teams and shipyards collaborate. Each project is approached in a spirit of experimentation, attention to detail and the capacity for technical customisation.

Technologies for racing yachts
Since 2020, Moitech® has been active in the world of yacht racing, collaborating with specialist partners and professionals.
This has led to the development of a new range of composite products designed for sailmakers:
Battens
Batten tips
Custom technical accessories
Lightweight, high-performance products, reliable even in the most extreme conditions, designed to meet the high standards of modern sailing.

Armourpat.® is Moitech®’s patented technology that combines the beauty of solid wood with the performance of composite materials.
Ideal for applications requiring high mechanical standards without sacrificing the natural elegance of wood.
A state-of-the-art solution for interior design, architecture and technical furniture in intensive use scenarios.

Augmented Materials
High-performance technical laminates
Moitech®’s augmented materials are a range of hybrid laminates that combine premium wood (beech, poplar, walnut, teak) with advanced materials such as:
- Aluminium
- Glass fibre
- Carbon fibre
- Natural and sustainable compounds
These solutions enhance the physical properties of wood, making it suitable for situations that require:
- Fire resistance
- Acoustic and anti-vibration insulation
- Food compatibility
- High mechanical strength
A balance between appearance, functionality and performance.
