Il LEGNO: dalla Natura alle Cose
The 7th edition of IL LEGNO dalla Natura alle Cose is organized by “Museo del Falegname Tino Sana” and hosts about forty companies all skilled in the processing of this extraordinary material, producing semi-finished or finished products, which this year arrives in Bergamo from 23 May to 30 October 2019 with a site specific installation dedicated to the sustainability of wood.
“Mettere radici” is the theme of the 2019 edition of IL LEGNO dalla Natura alle cose (WOOD from Nature to things). “Mettere radici” means growing with solid and robust foundations, nourishing a clear concept from the bottom, that of sustainability. This is the aim of IL LEGNO dalla Natura alle Cose: to spread the culture of wood from the heart of the city. “Mettere radici” to tell, even to the smallest, the most alive raw material that exists in nature and how to use it in a conscious way to protect the Planet for future generations. “Mettere radici” for IL LEGNO dalla Natura alle Cose means to create cohesion and collaboration between the companies of the chain and their territory.
Promoting the culture of wood – a renewable and eco-sustainable material – and its use is the principle that guides IL LEGNO dalla Natura alle Cose, as well as enhancing the territory and its productive excellence.
