THE MATERIAL
WHAT IS VITTER
VittEr by Filippi 1971 is just what was missing for the outdoor and interior design: a compact paper multilayer.
An advanced material made in Italy from a sustainable and certified supply chain which, thanks to a manufacturing process that includes only three selected ingredients (paper, temperature, and pressure), can become the protagonist of surfaces and components for the furniture industry.
VittEr is green: it has very low formaldehyde emissions, is an FSC product and is suitable for contact with food. It is produced with silver ions which make it a 99.9% antibacterial and antiviral surface. The material is water-repellent, flame-retardant and self-extinguishing (class B-s2, d0). Furthermore, VittEr s practical because it is highly resistant to scratches and aggressive detergents as well as customizable, for a functional and original design.
Filippi 1971 and VittEr competed in the XXVII ADI Compasso d’Oro and were included in the ADI Design Index 2021 “for originality and functional and typological innovation, for the production processes adopted, for the materials used and for the formal synthesis achieved.”

The color of the stone of the fascinating Czech city, in which history has settled down to make it modern and monumental, intense and architectural, like the nuance that defines it.
DUBAI BEIGE

With VittEr you can create totally customized color layers, for different color compositions, unique results and versatile applications. VittEr can be CNC-ed in order to highlight these slayerings with 'cameo' or bas-relief effects.
The digital printing on the upper and/or lower sides of VittEr is a customized service that Filippi 1971 offers to further personalize the surface: any type of subject, writing or pattern can be printed.
VittEr can be further customized by choosing from the range of available surface finish textures.
VittEr can be manufactured in any thickness from 1 to 40 mm, with the total customization offered for the color, layering, finishing and digital printing.
Full-color sheets, sheets with the possibility of customization with digitally printed images on the surface, layered sheets in different colors with the possibility of 3D processing (cameo effect).

Filippi 1971 has created Vafer, an augmented material made through the interlamination of VittEr with poplar veneer* according to the principle of sustainability and personalization. Vafer is a semi-finished product that can be used in customized furniture components, kitchen tops and tables.

V-Art is the interpretation that VittEr gives to generative art: artificial intelligence created by the developers at Filippi 1971 allows machines to reinterpret human art, starting from any image or photograph. One of the features that makes V-Art unique is the use of VittEr as an engraving material. Thanks to its modularity in layers of different colors, in fact, it is possible to obtain infinite combinations suitable for any type of chromatic combination.
