Sustainability

A bond with the region, an eye on the future
For Filippi 1971, sustainability means taking care of people, the environment and the community.

It is not a separate project, it is a mindset and a way of acting that runs through every production choice, every investment, every relationship.

Our commitment in respecting the environment and the territory is demonstrated daily with activities that benefit the entire community.

Solid roots, low impact

We chose to stay in the region where we began, where all our production facilities are located. Here, we have forged a deep bond with the area and promote a short, efficient and environmentally friendly supply chain.

At the heart of our production is Italian Poplar Plywood, a hard, light and versatile material sourced mainly from northern Italy. The proximity of our suppliers allows us to reduce transport emissions, optimise the use of resources and maximise a high-quality raw material, while respecting the environment and the local economy.

Well-being that starts with people

We believe that innovation also means creating better workplaces. That is why we are building a new multifunctional company canteen, designed as a place for well-being and sharing. A modern dining area, a relaxation area, a well-equipped gym: an environment that promotes health and quality of life at work.

The facility will be powered by a dedicated solar generation system, in line with our commitment to energy self-sufficiency and reducing our environmental impact.

Power that makes a community

We are promoters of the Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile (CER) in Berbenno, a forward-looking project. We are installing 500 kW solar generation systems across our three plants, and the energy produced will be made available to other organisations in the area.

This means clean and affordable energy for residents, businesses and local institutions, and economic resources to reinvest in collective projects. A tangible action towards building a sustainable ecosystem where businesses and communities can grow together.
